AT HOME RETREAT
with Sr. Ria Valeroso, rc
(Organized by Cenacle Cebu)
Zoom meet for 10 Saturdays beginning February 22, 2025 (7:30PM PH time)
Limited to 10 participants only
This is an experience of a retreat carried on at home in the course of daily living for a period of 9 weeks.
1. This scriptural retreat is a form of group spiritual direction done online extended over a period of 9 weeks.
2. This is an invaluable aid in establishing a habit of personal prayer. Through praying with scriptures, participants are opened to the presence of God in the everyday happenings of their life. As they journal about this presence and share with others in the group, they are nurtured in faith by one another.
3. Led by a Cenacle Sister and following the suggested format, the discipline of the retreat develops into a loving response to the God who constantly calls each one of us.
4. Anyone eager to grow in their relationship with God is encouraged to experience this Online Home Retreat. No previous scripture study or theology background is necessary, only the desire to know God more intimately.
5. Group sharing is highly encouraged, but the most important aspect of the retreat is listening: to God, to others, to our inner selves.
6. Participants are asked to make the following COMMITMENTS before signing up:
I. Faithful daily prayer (30-60 minutes)
II. Attend weekly online meeting via Zoom for two hours, maximum (barring unforeseen emergencies)
III. Keep a simple prayer journal.
