It includes a weekly meeting of faith sharing, daily prayer using Scripture, and spiritual direction. It falls within the Lent season, the retreat theme of ā€œJourneying from Ashes to Easterā€ would be a timely opportunity for us to deepen our Lenten pilgrimage.

    Check in time for all retreatants from 8:30AM . We begin our program with the orientation on Holy Thursday at 10:45 AM and end our retreat after Easter Sunday breakfast. Liturgies, Masses and confessions will be available.

    This retreat invites participants to journey with Jesus in this total act of self-giving, and in the process, discover the meaning and relevance of his passion, death and resurrection in their own lives.

    Produced and facilitated by the team of Cenacle Sisters, the program includes:
    1. daily individual consultation with an assigned Cenacle Sister
    2. suggestions for guided prayer points
    3. Morning prayers and Triduum Liturgies

'It is important to deal with the very real pain of loss.Ā  We should not feel guilty for grieving because it is a necessary part of God's pathway to healing." - from Living through Grief ------------------------------------ The retreat includes input on the grief process, obstacles to the healing process, and recognizing God’s presence in our grief. Spaces for expressing one’s grief through prayer experiences will also be provided. Grief here is not just for someone who died, but can be for Ā a significant loss (such as a broken relationship, job or role, a way of life, etc.) Thank you!

    Journey Toward Life: A Lenten Retreat Through Journaling and Artwork March 7-8,2026 with Sr. Rose Lirc and Ms. Pinky Lumayno "For Lent is a time for recognizing that our lowly ashes are loved by God. It is a time of grace, a time for letting God gaze upon us with love and in this way change our lives. We were put in this world to go from ashes to life" (Pope Francis homily Feb 28, 2020) This weekend program aims to help the participants to reflect and experience God's love for us and journey toward the life God has promised to us. There will be distinct times given for personal journaling and time for individual artwork. Artists and non-artists are all welcome.
